I must admit I was pretty lucky with this shot. It's on a busy place in the center of the city. Evening sun, people heading home from work, shopping, tourists. And in the middle of this atmosphere I could catch this moment of silence. Peace is everywhere.

Great photo, nice poem. I miss street musicians. I heard them in Kaiserslautern all the time, some of them were pretty good.

The rower dude could use another oar - it is a lot easier rowing with two. In fact that is kind of slang for a slow or crazy person - "He only has one oar in the water" meaning he's going in silly little circles.
